The journey of Voice Within.

If you are reading this passed 2022, then Voice Within is well on its way in becoming an independent publisher.

You see, it started off as a Writing and Research consultancy endeavour in 2018. And I still offer Grant Writing services and workshops, as I just love and am passionate about offering this service. I get to know grassroot businesses and operations and help them get their wings for flight, matching funding with business success.

Over the years, it has truly evolved. I found myself facilitating story-crafting workshops and holding storytelling events in my local community. People’s Library: Voices of the Community is a grant funded project initiated with Bellingen Shire Libraries for 2020. It is an event which aims to bring oral storytelling back into the community, and create connection through story.

And then one year, I am calling out to authors to submit their short stories, letters and poems. Behold the anthology of stories, published in 2021, called Voice Within: a storybook by storytellers, first edition. Eight authors, and 12 pieces had themselves published with such ease in this storybook. So proud of the end result, so proud of all the pieces and authors!

I have a plethora of business and administrative, project and event management, and writing skills in my skill-set toolbox acquired over my 26 years of being in business.

So, I have taken the plunge and I am following the dream, and, my own mantra around storytelling - all stories matter, everyone deserves to be heard.

I am ready to start publishing for others, non-fiction and fiction books. I do this for myself, I am ready to do this for you.
